Winter
We’ve had some snow, you might’ve heard. The below pictures were taken after two separate snowfalls, both in Astoria, my beautiful perfect neighborhood.
Tonight, I’m making my dear friend Kathryn dinner (lemon fusilli w/ arugula! Plus wine!) and tomorrow I have an Italian lesson followed by some crazy twin time. Sunday I think I’ll sleep in, take a yoga class, clean my bathroom and enjoy week #3 of my very hilarious musical improv class. (Last week we sang solo songs and the chorus to my song was “You text me so f*cking much”. IT WAS ABOUT LOVE.)
Anyway. My weekend. Not bad, right?!
Sometimes I feel like being a single person in New York City is totally amazeballs.
I mean, I don’t feel like it. I know it.
What’s on the menu for you this weekend?
Do tell! And stay warm! Check back in Monday for the first installment ever of a Series of Laura’s Blog Posts Which Are Also Installments.
What?
Okay! Bye guys!

I can’t believe that I am jealous of New York having more snow than we do. What up with that, New York??
And, after taking a day off today (to make it a three day weekend) I am hanging with the man-fellow and some friends and some fondue. The menu also includes roasted eggplant (with goat cheese), beautiful green salad and quinoa salad. Glorious! However, some lemon fusili with arugula would be pretty sweet as well.
I’m also hoping to eat waffles.
Today I went to the supermarket and bought two jars of peanut butter (one smooth, one crunchy), garlic powder, chopped chives, six cans of chopped clams, four pounds of farfalle pasta (the pasta that looks like bow ties), one dozen extra large eggs and a loaf of Italian bread. I’m not sure what I’m going to do with it all, but I’m sure I’ll think of something.
