Overheard this weekend.
Twin #1: I SPUN AROUND GOOGOLPLEX TIMES SO I WIN.
Twin #2: WELL I SPUN AROUND TWO GOOGOLPLEX TIMES.
Twin #1: Um. Two Googolplex is NOT a number.
Twin #2: WELL, FINE. Then I spun around infinity times.
Twin #1: RIVER. YOU CANNOT SPIN AROUND INFINITY.
Twin #2: YES I CAN AND I DID.
Twin #1: RIVER. Everyone knows infinity is a concept not a number.
Silence.
Twin #2: You’re right. I forgot.
that just blew my mind.
how old ARE these boys??
They’re six going on infinity.
Jen took the words right out of my mouth.
That is just….wow.
They’re six. It was pretty much the most hilarious thing but don’t give them too much credit. I believe they were parroting their dad who got a little sick of the infinity/googolplex fighting and provided them an explanation. One that I’m not sure they fully understand.
Googleplex is a place. Googolplex is a number. You may virtually throw something at my head, now.
Well, now it looks like I made that comment for no good reason whatsoever. But that’s practically all my comments in this blog, so what the hey.
