Happy Easter, Here’s A Polish Magician
Posted on April 13th, 2009 in Indie Films, My Favorite Polack
My dad learned three new magic tricks recently and I say “new” because that is meant to imply that he knows at least a dozen others and practices them regularly.
He was VERY excited to show us all his new tricks yesterday when I traveled home for Easter Sunday.
I wasn’t able to catch them all on video as my camera didn’t have the capacity but I did manage to capture this one. My favorite part is when my sister-in-law enters the scene completely unaware and is rewarded with multiple bops on the head via yellow balloon.
Enjoy the crazy Polack at his finest.

hehe, what great fun! we didn’t have any magic at our family gathering…. Is that an Easter tradition or just a great time to do it with an audience? Love your Dad!
Sadly, not a tradition. Just my dad being totally insane.
And yes, it was a prime opportunity as there were many audience members including the two priests my mom invited for dinner.
Why is it that all the Dlugs look 20 years younger than they actually are? I just hope I got that set of genes.
RIGHT!?!?!? Dude looks 45. Easy. He’s just starting to go gray.
Haha! Your dad is awesome.
Just starting to go gray, eh? I started doing that at eighteen. I think I have a Steve Martin future.
Ha ha! But that’s okay. I find that look to be pretty classy. My dad’s family has some very very creepy genetics…none of them look as old as they are. I still can’t quite tell if I’ve inherited it yet though it’s more obvious as they get older, I suppose. He just turned 64 and hmmm…I am not seeing the wrinkles or the sagging!
