” I know my readership is small but maybe we can hit a few hundred bucks?”
Well, I was correct.
Total so far from Spectrum Readers = $590.
Thanks so much everybody. Considering the comments were all made by people I know, I have renamed the contest “Laura Buys People In Her Life Drinks”. I certainly owe at least that much to Ashley, Ashley and Tim. So, guys. CALL ME.
Keep donating away if you can, the amount has jumped since I last checked but they still have a long way to go.
I will be back to posting regularly on Monday, complete with a few videos that may or may not include me offending people who speak with a lisp and/or Star Wars Paraphernalia.
This week was a long one and I couldn’t seem to form a coherent sentence. It doesn’t help that my PMS has pushed me to depression-like depths. I’m having trouble getting out of the bathtub and last night, I may or may not have sobbed openly at an episode of “What Not To Wear”.
Just because Stacy and Clinton were HELPING HER FIND HER BEAUTY. And that PENCIL SKIRT looked so FLATTERING on her hips. And ISN’T THE WORLD SO AMAZING?
Uh. Yeah. I’m going to go hide away this weekend and by hide away, I mean celebrate a few birthdays. Special shout out to Dan who’s bday is today. We are going to do it up brunch-style tomorrow. My hormones are sincerely hoping there will be guacamole.
Be well, all. And I’ll check in soon.

If you are feeling sobby then, dear god, DO NOT watch this movie, Il y a longtemps que je t’aime.
My husband and I were openly weeping by the end of it. Just don’t read any spoilers if you plan on seeing it. You gotta love Kristin Scott Thomas doing her French thang.
Might be more than that. I messaged all 370 of my friends on facebook about it. I know at least one of them donated.
I read the story and wished I could donate. Circumstances for us are really tough right now and we can’t afford it… we’re trying to help out a dear friend in a very bad situation.
But I am sending positive thoughts Holli’s way.
Dude, I’m going to rent that movie ASAP. I love a good cry fest.
Tim – YOU ARE AMAZING.
Abbie – NO WORRIES! We do what we can do! I’m sure your dear friend needs your help and appreciates it!
